CAPO 2010 Quebec city

 
CAPO was established to provide a professional association for the growing number of Canadian prosthetic and orthotic practitioners. The Association encourages and promotes high standards of professionalism and patient-care in the prosthetic and orthotic profession.
The association ensures members of CAPO have access to educational and professional resources and a forum to advance their profession for the continual improvement of prosthetic and orthotic services in Canada.
 
Membership within CAPO is voluntary and there are various levels of membership depending on one’s involvement within the prosthetic and orthotic profession.
FM - Full Member; members comprised of Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists
RTM - Registered Technical Member; members comprised of Registered Technicians
AM - Associate Member; those who are neither Prosthetists or Orthotists, or Technicians; Associate Members are comprised of suppliers, allied health professionals or people associated with the P&O field.
SM - Student Member; students in a CBCPO accredited school program.
RM - Retired Member
HM - Honorary Member
LM - Life Member
